How to Ship Your First Order from China to Zimbabwe

Step 1 - Find Your Product and Supplier

The first thing you need is a product and a supplier in China. Most Zimbabwean importers use platforms like Alibaba, 1688, or DHgate to find manufacturers and wholesalers. When you find a supplier, ask for their best price, minimum order quantity (MOQ), and the dimensions and weight of a packed carton.

If you do not have a supplier yet, that is not a problem. Eleos Shipping offers a free product sourcing service. We identify verified suppliers in China, compare pricing, and send you a full report. All you need to do is tell us what you are looking for.

Step 2 - Get a Shipping Quote First

Before you confirm any order with your supplier, get a shipping quote first. You need to know the total landed cost before committing to buying. To get a quote from us, send us the following via WhatsApp:

->  What the product is

->  Dimensions of a packed carton (length, width, height in cm)

->  How many cartons you are ordering

->  The weight per carton

->  Where the supplier is located in China

We will calculate your CBM for sea freight, or your kilogram rate for air freight, and give you a clear quote within 2 hours during business hours.

Step 3 - Choose Sea or Air Freight

Air Freight - Fast, Priced by Weight

Air freight costs $18 per kilogram and takes 7 to 14 business days. Best for urgent shipments, lightweight goods, or high-value items where speed matters more than cost.

Sea Freight - Economical for Large Orders

Sea freight is charged by volume (CBM) and costs between $415 and $500 per CBM depending on goods type. Transit time is 45 to 60 days via Beira, Mozambique. The right choice for large or heavy orders where you are not in a rush.

Step 4 - Give Your Supplier Our China Warehouse Address

Once you have confirmed your order with us and made payment, we give you the full address of our China warehouse in Foshan, Guangdong Province to pass on to your supplier. When your goods arrive, our team photographs everything and notifies you immediately.

Step 5 - We Handle the Rest

->  Consolidating your goods with other shipments to reduce cost

->  Booking the sea or air freight

->  Managing customs clearance through Beira, Mozambique

->  Delivering to our Harare hub at 28 Rhodesville Road, Eastlea

You receive updates at every stage - when goods leave China, when they clear customs, and when they arrive in Harare ready for collection.

Step 6 - Collect in Harare

Once your shipment arrives, we notify you immediately. Come to our office at 28 Rhodesville Road, Eastlea, Harare with your receipt and a valid ID. Your goods are in your hands.

A Note on Payment

Eleos requires full payment before your shipment moves. For sea freight, payment must be received before the container reaches Beira. For air freight, payment must be made before goods are dispatched from China. Payment is in person at our office in Cash USD, EcoCash, or Innbucks. We always issue an official receipt.
