How do I pay my China supplier?
You pay your supplier directly. Eleos Shipping does NOT make payments on behalf of clients. However, we can guide you through safe payment methods such as Alipay escrow to protect your money. This service is free advice — the payment always comes from you.
How long does shipping take?
Sea freight: 60 days or less from the date your goods leave China. Air freight: 7 to 14 days. Transit times depend on supplier dispatch speed and customs processing. We will always give you a realistic timeline when you book.
What are the shipping rates?
Sea freight is charged per CBM (cubic metre): Tier 1 General Goods $415/CBM, Tier 2 Sensitive Goods $450/CBM, Tier 3 High-Value Goods $500/CBM. Maximum weight is 500kg per CBM. Air freight is $18 per kg. Ask us for the full rate card.
How do I track my shipment?
Once your shipment is booked, you are added to our WhatsApp broadcast list and given a container or airway bill tracking number. We send you updates 2 to 3 times per week so you always know the status of your goods.
What happens if my goods are damaged?
We inspect and photograph all goods at our China warehouse before shipping. If damage is discovered on arrival at our Harare hub, you must notify us within 48 hours of collection. We will work with you and the freight partner to investigate. We strongly recommend cargo insurance for high-value shipments — ask us for a quote.
How do I make payment for shipping?
All shipping payments are made at our Harare office in person. We accept EcoCash, Cash (USD), and Innbucks. No payments are accepted via WhatsApp money transfers or third parties. Always collect your receipt.
